Hey 😀
I’m back!!!
It’s a PLL joke!  😉
Terrible week. Just terrible! Exhausting, intense, colorless and downright torturous. I’m so glad it’s over! But now I have a big task on my hands, don’t I? I have to update the blog and write about the whole week in one go. Well then, let me just dive in. No time to dillydally.
So… Where do I even begin? My 16-weeks-in picture maybe? Yeah, let’s just do that. 57.2 kg!! Is this amazing or what? 😀 😀 😀
Monday, Week 17, Day 1
I mentioned before I left that I started this week with a 3-day fruit detox diet. So Monday was Day 1. It went well. I had 2 meals (a combination of fruits and carrots) and 3L of water. It was a good day.
The meals
Meal 1: 1 mango, watermelon (1 wedge)
Meal 2: 1 apple, 1 plum, 5 strawberries, 1 carrot
Water: 3L
Gym
Day 1: Back, chest, abs
Steady rate cardio at speeds 8.5 and 9.5 for 2×10 minutes.
Tuesday, Week 17, Day 2
Day 2 of my fruit detox diet went BAD. I think because I’ve been having fuller meals lately, this fruit detox diet was harder on me than the previous two. It took a surreal amount of restraint and control for me to stick to my fruity meals and water. It was so bad that on Tuesday, when I went out to get water, I passed this pizza place and someone was having a tuna pizza. I even developed a craving for that! TUNA PIZZA! Who craves that? But yeah, in retrospect, it was funny. On the day, not so much! I paced my living room like a caged animal for over 30 minutes trying my hardest not to go back out there and have that damn pizza.
The meals
Meal 1: 1 mango, watermelon (1 wedge), 1 carrot, 1 apple
Meal 2: 1plum, 1 apple, 5 strawberries, 1 banana
Water: 2L
Gym
Day 2: Shoulders, biceps, triceps
Steady rate cardio at speed 8.8 and 9.5 for 2×10 minutes.
Wednesday, Week 17, Day 3
Day 3 went okay I guess. I was in over my head with stuff to do so I didn’t really have time to crave warm food.
The meals
Meal 1: 1 banana, 1 plum, 5 strawberries, 1 mango
Meal 2: 2 kiwis, 1 apple, ¼ of a honeydew melon
Water: 3L
Gym
Steady rate cardio at speeds 9.0 and 9.5 for 2×10 minutes.
Thursday, Week 17, Day 4
On Thursday I rewarded myself for my amazing restraint by cooking one of my favourite meals: Chicken and rice.
The meals
Meal 1: Chicken curry and rice (at 16 00)
Snack: 1 scoop of whey protein, ¼ of a honeydew melon, 1 apple (at 18 00)
Meal 2: Chicken curry and rice (at 20 00)
Gym
20 minutes steady rate cardio at speeds 8.8 and 9.5 for 2×10 minutes.
Friday, Week 17, Day 5
For the life of me, I can’t remember what happened on Friday worth mentioning. Thank God I actually wrote down what I ate everyday and what I did at the gym. I actually scribbled on a piece of paper but point is, this was some really good thinking. This post would have been a nightmare to write otherwise.
See..??
Anyway, moving on…
The meals
Meal 1: 3 chicken fajitas (at 16 00), a coke ZERO
Snack: ¼ of a honeydew melon, 1 mango (at 19 00)
Meal 2: Leftover chicken curry and rice (at 22 00)
Gym
20 minutes steady rate cardio at speed 9.0 and 9.5 for 2×10 minutes.
Saturday, Week 17, Day 6
What happened yesterday? Hmm… I guess nothing much. Nothing relevant to weight loss anyway!
The meals
Just had one meal. I wanted to eat out so I had Subway, the usual. A 6-inch Chicken Teriyaki sub with Oregano and Parmesan bread, lettuce, olives and jalapenos and Chipotle Southwest sauce.
And a coke ZERO.
Gym
20 minutes steady rate cardio at speed 9.0 and 9.5 for 2×10 minutes.
Sunday, Week 17, Day 7
And finally, Week 17, Day 7. That’s today! Ah, this was tiring.
The meals
Meal 1: Tuna pizza (at 16 00)
Snack: Watermelon (1 wedge), 1 apple, 1 carrot (at 18 00)
Meal 2: 1 scoop of whey protein (at 20 30)
Gym
Rest day.
I come back to this almost every day hoping for an update – I found you through an old Reddit thread – what happened?! Did you hit your goal? Are you still working towards it? Did you fall pregnant and have to give up? Did you cave and eat cake all day every day for the past month and gain all the weight you lost? Did you die?? I hope all is well and sincerely hope you’ll update soon. I found this blog to be very helpful and honest – a striking contrast to most dieting/fitness blogs.
Please give us a new post, however fleeting, even if it’s just to close your entries x
Got around to it after all I’m sorry for being MIA for so long.
