Week 8, Day 3

This is torture. Argh!! This diet is giving me mood swings. Can’t sleep! I am obsessing about food every other hour. And get this: I am not even obsessing about the usual things I obsess about. At this point, even a steak with no sides or a fruit salad would feel like a treat straight from heaven. I am not even thinking about the good stuff. Just that whey protein twice a day followed by a chicken salad is crushing my soul. Anything would be better than this.

But I am going to stick to this. Maybe it will all pay off in the end and if I don’t try it then I’ll never know.

Meals of the day

Meal 1: Whey protein and a multivitamin (at 10 30)

Meal 2: Whey protein and a multivitamin (at 14 30)

Meal 3: A Subway chicken salad, no dressing, no cheese (at 19 00)

Gym

Day 3 is cardio only.

30 minutes steady rate cardio at speeds 8.5, 9.2 and 10.0 (3×10 minutes) followed by 15 minutes HIIT at speeds 5.7 (walking speed) and 11.0-12.4 (sprinting speed).
